Stayed there for 2 nights. This place was very nice to stay due to its location to all amenities The place was very clean modern and nicely decorated. The charge per night was very reasonable. Best of all staying in January during a cold month the heating was variably on at room temperature so never felt cold. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Ambleside.
Great stay self check-in and out. Room large and comfortable, I would say larger than a standard hotel room. Sofa, fridge, bath and shower. Thin walls. You could easily hear other rooms.

Absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel . Clean, cosy, close to town centre or the lake. Easy check-in system all on key boxes.
We loved our stay in room 35 right at the top. Although the room was compact the bed was extremely comfy and huge. The room had everything we needed (including a fan and mini fridge) with a lovely powerful shower. There’s a well-priced car park across the road if the log house parking isn’t available, but as we went out most of the day in the car, we were able to park on the main road overnight for free. You can also get a parking token for a free hour from the hotel. We’d love to return!
What a pleasant surprise the log house was? The room has a great lay out, spacious and airy with a fantastic roll top bath and an incredible powerful shower. The bed was huge and comfortable and check in was so easy and there’s even a small fridge. As Arnold said “I’ll definitely be back” .
Stayed for 2 nights , rooms are great value and within walking distance of pubs, shops and restaurants! Will definitely be staying again!
